American Wanderers fan since 1998-1999 season. Spent a blurry week amongst the good people of Bolton, watched the Whites lose in the play off final to Watford and got hooked. That's my story. COYWM!

Boston.

I laughed when I saw your Habs flag. Grew up watching the Whalers. No B's fan here. Moms family came down from Montreal they lived in Westmount. That was Montreal Wanderers part of town, no?

Thanks for the warm welcome and COYWM

Indeed, the Wanderers were a team that played in Westmount (Montreal Arena) and were followed by the Anglophone community. However, they folded just after the formation of the NHL in about 1918, when their arena burned down. They were replaced by Montreal's second (and Anglophone) team - the Montreal Maroons who folded during the Depression.

I used to take hockey teams down to the Boston area (a small town called Pembroke), but my coaching days are long over now.

Welcome on board.

I'll never forget that game nor the overhead kick goal that made it 2-0.

I still dislike Watford and Elton John to this day.
