introducing myself

Post by taddyontoast » Mon Sep 02, 2019 5:28 pm

err... shamelessly joining now that things are looking up! Have lurked on here off and on over the years - usually around transfer deadline days - haven't visited for a while cos it has just been too depressing by half...

I'm in my fifties - have been coming here to lurk for news and views because the residents seem on the whole to be of a more mature and considered age than those that like "bantz" in other places!

all time favourite Wanderer - Taddy - but then I guess that's true for everyone. I'll probably bugger off it it all goes tits up again..

times changed and all sorts of shiny baubles came our way... but for me, Taddy was the first and most exotic thing I had seen in a Wanderers shirt! :-) (I'm easily pleased!)

I may be wrong but i think Curcic came long after taddy - but - yes! he was also an ace and exotic shiny bauble (though by then we'd got more used to having overseas players at Bolton and they didn't seem quite so exotic!)
