Downtime on Monday

Re: Downtime on Monday
It's new, and I don't like change. Only real complaint is that clicking on an external link used to open it in a new tab, whereas now it annoyingly opens it over the page and means lots of faffing with backspace. If that could be fixed it would be excellent, otherwise I'll to be arsed pressing Ctrl.

Bizarre - I was just about to make exactly the same remark (about not opening a new window - not the one about resisting change, Stick-in-the-mud )Prufrock wrote:It's new, and I don't like change. Change it back! It hurts my eyes.keveh wrote:Also, anything you want to change/improve please feel free to suggest it.
This is a bit of working progress at the moment, so tweaks can be made.

Re: Downtime on Monday
I've just twice posted on a thread at the same time as someone else, and my post hasn't gone on. Is there a pecking order? I feel hurt. I haven't 'ignored' myself have I?

This - it is actually a bit annoying. But I like the change generally.Bruce Rioja wrote:Bizarre - I was just about to make exactly the same remark (about not opening a new window - not the one about resisting change, Stick-in-the-mud )Prufrock wrote:It's new, and I don't like change. would people like the white dulling a bit?
I'll sort the link thing out, very annoying! I'll get YouTube embed on as well.

OK, links are sorted, but they will only work on new posts unfortunately.
If you have posted a link recently you can edit that message and save it and it will update.

Re: Downtime on Monday
[Prufrock] I use Firefox as my browser, unless forced to do otherwise by Microsoft products.
Should you also use that browser then go to the menu bar, choose Tools>Options and select the 'Tabs' tab. Top of the list is the option to open new pages in a new window or a 'tab'. Doing so might sort out your niggle. Other browsers I cannot comment upon - although I do have a few installed for testing purposes - but should you use such I'm sure that it will have a similar option buried somewhere in its bowels of control.

Is there summat new with the login? I've noticed that if I leave it on while I go away for a few hours - when I come back it has logged me off... it never used to do that!
