Tell us how to make the site a better place, and we'll pretend the idea was ours all along.....

Avatar resizing

Post by Leyther_Matt » Sun Jul 01, 2007 11:33 am

Any chance that the 100x100 avatar limit could be reintroduced?

Not too much of a problem, but it's chopped off half of my retro LSL pic because my photo hosting site refuses to accept a smaller image!

You've done well to find a picture of him playing for us. As I recall, he turned up as a Phil Neal 'jobs for the boys' number, got injured after a half an hour, spent a year in the treatment room, then fecked off back to Liverpool! The nice person!

A la John Gregory...

IIRC that picture was as he did his one decent thing for us - curled a free-kick onto, or near, the bar at the Lever End in some or other frustrating goalless draw; he may even have been given the Sharrock Merit Badge in the BEN. Think it was the next match he got knacked.

batty just go to imageshack and host them there, it allows you to resize them to avatar size as you upload.

Resizing it was fine. It doesn't recognise the URL when I try to copy and paste the address from Imageshack to my profile. (Whatever the f*ck that means)

Are you using the direct link ie the address in the bottom box? It shouldn't have the [URL bit in front.

Feel free to use the url of the picture I posted, if it helps.

Just to let everyone know; if anyone is having any problems with their avatar or Sigs, just let any of the Admin/Mods or Editorial crew know and we'll be more then happy to sort it for you, or they will pass it on if they are to busy to do so.
