Appologies if this has already been covered (im sure i saw a thread a while back on this...but can't find it now)

How do you put an avatar on? If its been covered could someone post a link to it as I cant seem to get a picture up as an avatar.

Find a picture that you want to use, Spaced, then copy it's URL. If it's a picture that currently in your 'My Pictures' on your system and not on t'interweb then you'll need to get it hosted, once you've done that then copy the URL. Go into 'Profile' at the top of this or any other page. Once in, scroll down. You'll see a space for you to paste the URL into. Do that, click the submit button, and Fanny's your aunt.

if you need it hosting, a popular destination is http://imageshack.us - faff about there for a bit and it'll all become clear(er).

Cheers...done that but i get url not valid when i use the links from imageshack...? any ideas??

I'll do a step by step guide for posting pics, making avatars and getting images onto sigs this evening, and post it as a sticky in here, and maybe the new members forum.

Nope, sorry Cap's it won't even let me do it from the Admin panel!

Edit: Just tried changing mine and it's fine. Looks like it's just your profile, unless anyone else is having a problem.

If it's the same tomorrow I'll ask Keveh to have a look.
