Dissapearing front page article

Tell us how to make the site a better place, and we'll pretend the idea was ours all along.....

Dissapearing front page article

Post by Lord Kangana » Tue Oct 07, 2008 3:18 pm

Quick qn for the mods or amins...

Was there a new front page article about BSA on the front page over the wkend?

I accessed the site on saturday from someone elses computer, and the front page was a slightly different layout than I've seen before (but nevertheless, looked like it was an 'intended' change). Can't find the article anymore, and the site is back to what I'm used to....

Did I imagine all this??

Would have been 5-1 though, had Green not saved that penalty

I don't remember seeing it over the weekend. Unless keveh was modifying/testing the site and you happened to logon just at the right time. :?

Sometimes, and I tread carefully in case this bites me, if I look up the Wanderer and don't put the correct address in it gives me a number of options. Some of those options date back a while and I have sometimes seen a front page with the Big Sam article.

Strangely, when you click on the forums button, it still goes to the present day.

Just saying, like.

That sounds the likeliest possibility...that or the fish/Bangra combo

Think you'll find that this is the most likely explanation, LK.

The site has changed a number of times over the pats four years (feck me, has it really been that long?). Tis likely that there are still one or two old links floating about in never-space and it's probable that your mates computer had an older page stored in its history.

Keveh is the real expert on this - however, I can't see it being anything else!

Awesome podcast from what I heard. I caught the Cannon segment. It was very intelligent, thorough, and interesting. A lot of great insight. Great job and keep it up.

I thought the cannon segment was rubbish - cannons only work in the 1812 Overture, not podcasts.

Stick to modern artillery.
