This is the thread in which you will be informed of any bans, either temporary or permanent, that have been meted out to members. It will detail the length of the ban and the basic reasons for it being imposed.

It is intended to be a source of information, not an opportunity to have an extended debate on the rights and wrongs of any ban decision. Such a debate would be counter productive. Moderators and administrators of the site have to make these decisions on certain occasions. They are never easy decisions and they are not taken lightly.

Hopefully there will not be many posts in this thread!

Commie received a final one month ban earlier this month. This was the result of a long series of incidents in which he had acted in a manner which was judged to have been unacceptable by the standards of the site. He had undergone earlier bans for these actions.

After receiving this ban he immediately started to post under another identity, which was soon apparent to the administrators and moderators. For this series of actions his final one month ban was made permanent.

I forgot to mention a group of acne ridden piemunchers who got blasted into oblivion yesterday following the Wiggin invasion. I won't bore you with their names.

Programme Hut has just received a permanent ban for blatant spamming - not to mention trying to sell penis extension tablets. As if anybody on here needed them - pah!

And yet - I spoke too soon. eddybwfc has just received a one week ban from the site after posting what was deemed to be a racist joke in the joke thread.

Our pencil-biting buddy has today requested re-entry after his self-imposed ban to complete his finals. Welcome back Mummy.

Bruno has just been give a one-month final ban. This comes into effect immediately. It will be lifted on 12 September.

The site monitors and administrators have been debating this issue since 27 May. We believe that it is beyond reasonable doubt that Bruno is allowing Batman to use his account on a regular basis. Batman has been subject to a permanent ban from this site for some time. This constitutes a misuse of the account and a decision has now been taken to apply a final one-month ban to Bruno as a consequence.

This ban has nothing to do with Bruno / Batman's frequent negative comments regarding the management of BWFC, as annoying as that has become to certain members. Differing opinions are always tolerated on this site. I must repeat that decisions of this nature are not taken lightly. The fact that this matter has been the subject of considerable debate for over two months should bear testimony to that.

Hopefully, after the ban is lifted next month, this account will not be misused. If it is misused then a permanent ban will inevitably be placed on the account. We hope that this will not become necessary.

Bruce Rioja has just received a three-day ban for continuing to post personal abuse against other contributors. Abuse of this nature will not be tolerated on the site - them's the rules. Hopefully it will stop now.

If it doesn't then the next step is a one-month ban - and we don't want that.

Around 12.30 last night Bruno posted a thread in one of the forums. It's title alluded to anal sex and the contents of his post graphically described the act. About an hour later another member commented on the thread and the fact that it was inappropriate for this site. We are unaware as to how many other members or guests saw the piece. The post was spotted by a member of the admin team at 7.00am this morning and it was immediately removed from the site.

Since that time the administrators and moderators have had discussions as to what action should be taken. Bruno has recently been allowed back onto the site after a final one-month ban. It was decided that he should receive an immediate and permanent ban from the site. This ban has now been implemented. He will not be returning - at least not in his current guise.

On reflection Bruno's ban will not be permanent. It will be for one month and it will expire on 21 December. Any further ban will indeed be permanent. Hopefully he will accept this opportunity. There won't be any more.
