It's happening as we speak (type).

Unfortunately with the internet there isn't really a time that you can put your finger on. Certain records need update which can range between 1hr - 24hrs and these can be different for each individual.

All I know is that if you can see the site, you can post on it. If not, keep checking back.

Presumably you're not switching servers today, then?

That's going to require some "proper" downtime, innit? Reconfiguring the webservers and so on.

Although I know nothing about computers, so maybe it won't.

Nah, it's the hosting company who are doing it and they are just changing things from one of their servers to another.

So they've moved everything over from one server to another, I've updated the nameservers so it's just a case of those swapping over.

I hate to be a partpooper, but theres bugger all difference for how the sites running for me. It even froze on me last night.

It probably froze because of the change, it only properly rolled over today.

You may still be waiting on it to swap over seen as though everybody else is having speed increases.
