problem

Post by Gooner Girl » Wed Mar 02, 2011 10:09 am

I can access TW on the pc fine from google but just today when i have tried to reach it via google on my iphone the top TW link takes me to a site supposedly from O2 but starting with http://www.bango.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or something like that, claiming the site is for over 18's onky and to check that i am over they want my credit card details to take a £1 off and credit it to myphone account.

All seems a bit suss to me? Anyone else using mobile internet had this problem?

Being naive to the seedier side off things, what is "over 18's onky". Is it like dogging?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I'm experiencing the same on my iPhone. Asking for Visa/Debit details.

You've already missed one!

Would you be able to be more specific so I can try and track it down?

Is it the top links on the front page or in the forums, and when you say top links do you mean FAQ, Search etc?

Are you accessing the site directly or going to it via Google?

Cheers!

I've tried through google, TW home page, and going straight to the forum and all sent me to that page.

Just tried again now and this time it says service unavailable on this address

http://www.o2av.net/ageverify" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

if you had 4 month twins you'd realise you don't get much time for sitting down at the pc. Most of my web browsing has to be done on my phone at odd, short moments.

What in the hell has this thread descended in to?

Anyway, I checked on an iPhone and it was fine for me, would others with iPhones be able to take a look for me please?

I expect Gooner Girl's machine retained the address in memory from all the other times she visited bango.net. :D
