Posting Issues

If you are trying to post and get an error, please can you report it here. You probably wont be able to post for 10 minutes either.

Let me know what the error you get it and the time you tried.

The reason that it's happening is it's an anti-spam measure on the server. Some things get caught that aren't spam, but the server thinks is spam.

So for example, looking in the logs somebody has attempted to post something with "l a s e r" and "e y e" in content so it thinks you're trying to spam. (I have obviously typed that out with spaces so I don't get blocked).

I was trying to post a joke a couple of weeks ago, when I have caught up I will try again and see if i get the message.

Mine had l a s e r e y e in it - I'll try again with the spaces. It does render TW unavailable to me after the fail. I don't have a fixed IP I'm afraid - randomly assigned from the University block.

I tried to post immediatley as per my first reply and then when I could get back on the site about 15mins later I made my second post. The word C A S I N O was in the post as well.

It isn't thread specific, it's the content of what you try to post. So Willy was trying to post something with "poker" in it and thought he was a spam bot advertising gambling
