cricket proteus and red protestations

Would it be possible to engineer an avoid button for threads such than instead of the forum, and thread involved, turning red it was just ignored when hit. Nearly every TWer and his dog is posting on Protein The Croquet, and I'd like to ignore whilst still being alerted to other postings on other general forum threads. 8)
Pretty Please.

I do. It's the false hope of the alerts I wanted to avoid. All those times I've seen theGeneral Forum turn red and I go in there with the thrill of thinking you've abused me on the Politics thread, and my anticipation is thwarted because you've just exchanged inanities about somefxcker hitting a small hard ball somewhere... :hang:

Just stop it now! You know very well they were translated tweets, not second hand tweets. This has been fully exposed. :spank:
