West Ham boss Alan Pardew:
"In that last third we are lacking a bit of genius and flair that can change the whole face of the team. Most of my strikers are pretty good on paper - but at the moment none of them are producing the goods for us. Portsmouth defended well and that made it more of an issue. I'm disappointed and feel sorry for our fans."
Just in case anyone has forgotten what an utter nice person Alan Pardew is, and is now feeling sorry for him.

But it's not only that though is it, Zulu?! We wait with bated breath to hear who's fault it is this time. Up to now, of course, it's due to signing talented footballers!Zulus! Thousand of 'em! wrote:God, I would just love to see those bastards relegated again.
