We were told how West Ham were "too good to go down" - and how Bolton "deserved to go down" - day-in day-out. If it was just the London-biased West-Ham loving meeja darlings then maybe we could have forgotten it by now - BUT IT WASN'T - West Ham fans joined in - believing the hype..

We have offered a lot more to English football in recent years than you have (half the England team to be precise) - of course people wanted us to stay up. We used to play good football and be an entertaining team to watch, which is why West Ham, believe it or not, are a lot of peoples second team.

I have no actual dislike of West Ham.

Even during the tedious media campaign of their relegation season.

Living in North London there are far more egotistical idiots than West Ham fans in Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United.

The man I despised was Pardew. He's gone. As are most of the players who were only too keen to leave West Ham the minute they caused them to be relegated.

West Ham are very much a part of the community, as are Bolton and yes, we have racists amongst our fans too.

I now hope that Charlton go down. Which is a shame as I love going there (until this season), but I can't wish any success for Pardew.
