Which MLS Teams...
Which MLS Teams, if any, do you think would complete a season in the premiership without relegation?

may be not in your head, but I'd be very surprised to see them in the top half of the championship.libreg wrote:You guys aren't giving enough credit to the mls. Maybe the wouldn't survive the premiership, but they would definitely be in the top half of the championship, no question.
Eh, I suppose now I'll have to create a "why the mls sucks" topic.

Some of them would be OK in the Championship, but you could put Boca Juniors in the Premiership and they'd struggle. Give them the TV money they'd get for being in the Prem and the crowds that would attract and they'd be fine.

They'd be fine as they are. MLS & Argentina are miles apart in quality, and outwith the top3/4 teams in England, the rest are pretty average.Athers wrote:Some of them would be OK in the Championship, but you could put Boca Juniors in the Premiership and they'd struggle. I reckon they'd struggle to adapt to the English game, and their young players are getting pinched earlier and earlier these days. Were the South American clubs able to keep their home grown players (as they would in a better league) it'd be a different ball game but I don't rate the standard in Argentina that much anymore unfortunately, I mean Martin Palermo is tearing the league up again and he was a complete failure in Europe.
