Drogba - back to his very very best.

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Drogba - back to his very very best.

Post by Soldier_Of_The_White_Army » Tue Apr 22, 2008 9:15 pm

No, not form; cheating and diving.

I'm watching the Liverpool Vs Chelsea game at the minute, and I've pxssed myself at his cheating antics. Touch the guy and it's as though he's just received 2000 volts of electricity.

Then the commentator has the audacity to say "Drogba has a fantastic recovery attribute" (Or words to that effect) and, no, he wasn't being sarcastic.

Gerrard's looking red with envy!

There isn't already a Champions League thread for this sort of drivel, is there not? Perhaps someone in the know could move this post into it? :?

That Riise certainly knows where the goal is.

Aye, he was. He followed it with "Drogba must have the lowest pain threshold in Europe"

Whereas of course Stevie G would run through a brick wall rather than dive for effect...

Actually thought Gerard had a very good game tonight. He's only bronze-medal class at diving when Drogba's around.

Not a shock Drogba resorted to these antics when the tactics meant he had no team mate within 30 yards whenever the ball came in his direction.

Looked like his first half burst should've earned Carragher a red card though, though ITV of course proclaimed that Carragher "may have shaved the ball" and it was a "coming together"

Just watched MOTD, and pxssed myself laughing at the cheating wxnker.

It showed in slow motion, Drogba kneeing the guy full in the face.......THEN, becuase someone had dared to make bodily contact with him, went into a full on 'receiving automatic fire' dramatisation.......THEN, stop in mid "AAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhh, whhhhhhhy????????" after realising what he'd done and turned to Vidic on the ground.

Naturally MOTD instantly stated how great he was to call over the referee.

I'd think it was fxcking hilarious, if we didn't have to face the twxt in two weeks!

Pot calls kettle black:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... 374204.stm

Here's an idea, assuming we're still in the EPL next season, does somebody want to put together a massive "GERRARD DIVES" banner for the home game against Liverpool? It's like this dirty little secret nobody wants to talk about. About time somebody calls attention to the problem.

Top quality mind games from Rafa...

"I know, i'll rile the oppositions best player on the eve of the game. Y'know the one that can be world class but has looked disinterested all season."

Not in Megsons league.

Then put the blame for losing squarely on Riise's shoulders.

Drogba's first goal last night (didn't see the second) was a proper stunner. Won't get talked about because it wasn't the kind of Gerrard or Scholes stunner we all talk about but the angle and sheer venom with which he hit it was outstanding.
