Anelka

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Er, I'm sorry, remind us of his record at Chelsea last season?

And perhaps you could take us all the way up to the point he refused to be one of the first 5 penalty takers in the CL final?

What f**king planet are you on man? We were distraught at losing him but knew it was gonna happen, had to accept it.

I didn't see a SINGLE user on this site posting "that God that useless shower has gone".

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I don't think anyone said at the time "let's sell this f***er, we'll be better off." But I think some revisionists have since tried to downplay his talent, or commitment, or contribution to the team, perhaps to take the sting out of our best player leaving.

His talent, never. His ability to fit into our set up, yes. He just didn't and nobody would bother too much in working on that when we knew he was only treading water here waiting for the jump to the big-time. Nobody ever dissed him as a player, he just wasn't for us. That was a stipulation from day one. Wish, like Allardyce, Tal Ben and Diouf, we could just forget them all as Bolton now and pass on. They all made their contributions, then moved on to bigger things....well, what you see as a man out of work, two bench-warmers for Chelsea and a move to Sunderland. Onwards and upwards.
