Abdoule Faye
Stories are coming out that Stoke have bid £2m for Abdoule Faye from the bar-codes. Though he began well with them (exceptionally well, he even aided them get 3pts against us in his last match for the Wanderers !) it is said that he "lost heart" when BFSA was sacked.
It appears he & Kenny Keggle don't see eye to eye and he's slipped down the pecking order.
It happens & frankly, good luck to Faye. But the bugger was settled at Bolton till this time last year. He now joins that band of players who leave a club where it's working and see it not work in their new place. Sometimes you should appreciate what you've got.
It's such a shame that these "big clubs" feel they have the right to covet players, managers, staff from the smaller ones and simply take them and, if it doesn't work, write them off.
I know we will be guily of that, at a lower level ... and it's a dog-eat-dog world and all that, but it just sums up the arrogance that all confirms about the way football is run.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Amdy/Amady Faye is less than half the player Abdoulaye is.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
