Abdoule Faye

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Abdoule Faye

Post by bobo the clown » Wed Aug 13, 2008 11:35 am

Stories are coming out that Stoke have bid £2m for Abdoule Faye from the bar-codes. Though he began well with them (exceptionally well, he even aided them get 3pts against us in his last match for the Wanderers !) it is said that he "lost heart" when BFSA was sacked.

It appears he & Kenny Keggle don't see eye to eye and he's slipped down the pecking order.

It happens & frankly, good luck to Faye. But the bugger was settled at Bolton till this time last year. He now joins that band of players who leave a club where it's working and see it not work in their new place. Sometimes you should appreciate what you've got.

It's such a shame that these "big clubs" feel they have the right to covet players, managers, staff from the smaller ones and simply take them and, if it doesn't work, write them off.

I know we will be guily of that, at a lower level ... and it's a dog-eat-dog world and all that, but it just sums up the arrogance that all confirms about the way football is run.

Well Faye had a chance to sign a new contract with us or move to Newcastle, so balls to him. You make your bed etc..

Guess he didn't like Little Sam when he took over from big Sam, and what he wanted to do with our club.

What a bastard.

The curse, I tell you the curse. This time next year Dioufy will be dreaming of the chance to even polish the boots of Matty Taylor

Stoke are being heavily linked with Amdy Faye. Not quite abdoulaye from what I can see off it.

They're building an army of Fayes, intent on conquering the world.

Amdy/Amady Faye is less than half the player Abdoulaye is.

You think we're short of tackling midfielders what with only having JOB, McCann, Cohen, Muamba and Dzemaili?

Poetic license

We don't need him

In fact, I'd argue we need Gudjohnsen more

...but not enough

He's too good for that lot

Everton could do with a replacement for Carsley, he'd fit in at other mid table teams as well

Infact he's better in midfield than most if not all of toons options
