There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

That's pretty good, I won't be taking the piss out of them for getting Cisse, as I wouldn't have minded him signing for us!
which is no surprise.

Want to guess what his liverpool debut was like before he went on to be unable to hit a cows arse with a banjo and falling apart quicker than flat-pack furniture constructed by a girl?
Exactly, he would be a FANTASTIC striker if he could finish, his pace and movement are brilliant, he gets in on goal and then fecks it up EVERY time.

I don't understand the bitterness and jealousy from the Bolton fans on this thread. Nor do I understand the complete stupidity and ignorance being spouted about Cisse.

In 259 senior career appearances (not all starts) he has scored 119 goals. That's very nearly a goal every other game which is exceptional.

He's always played in a top European League and has 39 caps for one of the best international sides in the world.

During his time at Liverpool his goals per minute ratio was the best in Liverpool's squad.

So explain to me why fans of Bolton are in any sort of position to criticise him?

Djibril Cisse has disclosed that El-Hadji Diouf played a part in helping him make up his mind over a move to Sunderland. The duo was formerly team-mates at Liverpool.

France striker Cisse joined the Black Cats on a season’s loan from Marseille and began his Black Cats career in fine style scoring the winner in the Premiership at Tottenham at the weekend.

The 27-year-old former Auxerre and Liverpool striker told the Sunderland Echo: "El-Hadji called me. He had a few words with me and said the ambition at the club is good, so I said, 'Good'.

"It's a good, lively forward line with me and El-Hadji - and don't forget about (Kenwyne) Jones as well, and plenty of other players who are quality.

"Nobody expects Sunderland to be a good team, but I know the boys now and we want to show people that we are a good club and that we can go and do well. We can surprise a lot of teams, like we did against Tottenham.”

You should look at last season's transfer gossip. You could probably work it out from there. We have plenty not to like Cisse over...
