Playing well after twenty five mins, 0 - 1 come on England, it would be great to beat them again.

Sat down, turned the tele on. Shit - David Pleat's on it. feck this off then, I'm off to Sainsbury's instead. Groceried-up, halfway-home with the radio on when who should ruck up to the mic but Alan 'dess es wowferl' Green. On with a CD instead and home just in time to see Terry's goal.

Thought we played alright. For the first time in my lifetime I saw an England team
who could pass to each other and looked fairly comfortable in possession. Can't wait to see Gerrard return
with his 70-yard Hollywood balls into the crowd.

Biggest plus for me tonight was the committment. The passing was a bit sloppy at times and Germany are always dangerous. Fortunately, we defended well. SWP had a really good game and was very unlucky with the one that hit the post/bar. Bent had a "Ricardo" moment and the slip wasn't a fault, just bad luck.( Not as Sky Sports reportd from tripping over his own feet). Schweinsteiger was brilliant for the opposition.

A moment of madness of the Paul Robinson variety nearly threw it way but beating the Germans in Berlin is no small triumph. All in all, a good night.

bit toothless up top but Gabby, Bent and Defoe are all adequate enough

Just when it should of been 0-2 it ends up 1-1 what was he doing trying to pick up fresh air,no way should terry be blamed, i think carson could of played his last game for England. It was so good beating the Germans again, even if we did play in red.

Good game. Very impressed with Agbonlahor, Downing and SWP, though the latter two were a bit hit and miss with their delivery.

Good on JT for owning up, though I guess it's a bit easier to do when you've scored the winner ey?

Good to see us pressuring the Germans when they have possession, Carrick was immense.

Or "German efficiency". What worries me is that England may just have a manager who knows his own mind and doesn't kow-tow to the media. Test will come when he loses one, i suppose
