Old Firm in the Premier League - really?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Under no circumstances would I be happy about them 'joining' the Premier League. The idea is total nonsense and goes against the competitive nature and fairness of sport in general. If it does happen it will be for commercial reasons only. The Welsh teams in the English pyramid system have been around for a long time now and that argument isn't valid.

Agree with Prufrock's point. I would admire both Celtic and Rangers if they decided to quit the SPL and join the Unibond League and work their way through the system.

Whole thing is a can of worms. Ajax and PSV joining the Bundsliga? Andelecht and Antwerp joining Ligue 1? Such as it is, Uefa will not sanction it.
