After the frightful way we've treated him, I'm surprised they haven't snapped up Gary Megson. People who know football would have.

Burnley are a fantastic club with a great history and passionate support. They were there at the very beginning of organised football, as we were. I'm really pleased, and a little surprised, that Owen chose us, and i hope they find a manager to keep them up.

(And that we have!).
