T'other lot

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Spineless, lazy Reds. No width, which is surprising considering they were playing about 5 bona fide wingers. No fight, especially when down to ten men, even in the last 10 minutes. City just wanted it more, in the end.

Ah well - the Spirit of 1926 lives on!

So what did Ballotelli do to send Ferdinand off the deep end.

United played like they already had it. City played like they wanted it. Best team won.

not sure about the lack of width, tw15. First half nani and valencia were merking city's fullbacks. But in the second half city dealt with it a lot better. Yaya seemed to be playing further up and completely destroyed United's midfield for half an hour. Whoever gets to the final will need to be wary of his runs from deep.

Whenever any of United's midfielders had the ball, you'll notice that they very rarely plumped for the wings, preferring instead to either go backwards or pass it to each other. Even when Nani had the ball, or Valencia, they never aimed to get to the byline, they kept cutting inside.

the little wink toward Ferdinand at the end too was priceless. The guy is basically a living troll.

Ah, talking of which something was going on at The Bok today when I was trying to get to Tesco. Was it the egg-chasers fooking up our pitch again?
