Suarez pissed me off right off. The second he rolled back up after going down he was card-waving. Can't stand that.

To be honest, I thought he did that trick of tripping himself. Clipping his right foot onto his left calf, at speed & then flounced.TANGODANCER wrote:Suarez pissed me off right off. The second he rolled back up after going down he was card-waving. Can't stand that.
Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I saw it.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I know what you are saying Bobo but I think Richardson flicked his right foot onto his left leg as part of the foul. Not Suarez doing it deliberately to get a penalty.bobo the clown wrote:To be honest, I thought he did that trick of tripping himself. However, Suarez hand balled it on the halfway line and so it should have been a free kick initially. Suarez was protecting his face and was blasted against his arms so deliberate hand ball.
Suarez then made a meal of the Richardson tackle, which may have been the reason why he wasn't sent off. Then the cheating dirty Uruguayan bar steward gets his imaginary card out. I thought that was a bookable offence?

It doesn't wind me up, just makes them doing it seem pathetic.
Not worthy of a booking or owt

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
The waving the card thing is incredibly annoying, especially when you know it's much easier to just trot up to the ref and tell him that he should book/send off X Player. Why signal to the world that you're trying to cheat when you can just whisper in his shell-like? I'd definitely be in favour of bookings for any player who did that card-wavey thing to the ref. No need for it at all.

Or even better stop being a dick and trying to get a fellow player booked / sent-offblurred wrote:The waving the card thing is incredibly annoying, especially when you know it's much easier to just trot up to the ref and tell him that he should book/send off X Player. Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
Well yes, but I was allowing for players being dicks, just not so stupid that they have to show the whole world what they're doing. Ideally just get on with the game and let the ref do his job.boltonboris wrote:Or even better stop being a dick and trying to get a fellow player booked / sent-off

Not bad at all! I'll send him some of my wedding snaps to see if he can make us look good (get rid of wrinkles, remove the grey, employ the anti-gormless look filter, etc.)boltonboris wrote:Well done MF!

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
It was a good result for Liverpool but I cant imagine Utd or City being too concerned at facing either of them. At best Arsenal looked like a mid table side and Pool weren't much better.Montreal Wanderer wrote:I guess the Gunners don't find them a laughing stock right now....
