Sunderland

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

You can spend a fortune, buy a whole new team, but whatever you do, you will always be a bit shite!

Bruce will be out the door if this latest Sunderland team doesn't pan out. Amazing how much money they have spent in recent years yet with relatively little change.

Lost 1-0 with a pretty strong team at Brighton tonight. Bizarrely Bruce had three strikers on the bench but none started in the first 11!

And for a long time the Sunderland fans wanted hiim out.

Calls for his head virtually universal up there now....

I live in Sunderland, the locals all pre-season have been very optermistic on there chances this season and alot reckon Bruce is a god. What fools they are!

That'll be because he's a 100% toss-pot.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

You DO realise he's still actually Arsenal property though ?

He's not coming back. He said as much. Besides, he's nearly as rubbish as Chamakh. Whilst we don't have loads of cover for when RVP gets injured I don't think Wenger will want him.

I thought Sunderland were starting to look like a very good side with Bent, Gyan, Welbeck and Sessegnon, attacking wise they looked the part, then Steve Bruce just lost the plot and got players like Wes Brown and Bendtner in.... he even tried for David Ngog!

I have a mate who's a Sunderland fan and I have absolutely no sympathy for them as he's a total gobshite. I hope they get relegated but it won't happen under O'Neill.
