What a bunch of dicks the Liverpool squad looked in those Suarez shirts last night.
They'll be selling them in the club shop before you know it. Support a racist t-shirts.
Alongside their Ian Brady Was Misunderstood coffee mugs and their Gary Glitter Just Needs A Hug car stickers.
Alan Hansen is a prize prick too.

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
The shite Sepp Blatter gave about "it's just words and should be sorted with a handshake" seem to have sunk in.Verbal wrote:Hansen saying racism isn't a problem "because of the success of coloured players in the prem" (not verbatim, but roughly what was said)
expecting an eight-programme ban and a candlelit vigil outside Anfield in half hour.
Interestingly there were no Scousers saying "to be fair he has a point".
I suppose it depends whether or not you support the player involved, eh Scousers ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Alan Hansen apologises for TV remark
Match of the Day pundit Alan Hansen has apologised after describing black players as "coloured" during Wednesday's programme.
He was discussing racism rows involving Luis Suarez and John Terry and his comments led to criticism on Twitter.
"I unreservedly apologise for any offence caused. This was never my intention and I deeply regret the use of the word," said the 56-year-old.
The ex-Liverpool defender is nearing 20 years as a panellist on the programme.

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
Cringed myself when I heard him saying that, he sounded like my Grandma!
The way the BBC pundits were talking to African footballers in the studio during the World Cup also made me cringe - they were talking to Adebayor like he'd never spoke to an English person before!
At one point his phone went off on live telly, Shearer goes "Whos that calling, Roger Milla?!"

Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
Had one of our lot been had up for racially abusing someone I'd be fecking livid if the rest ran out in supportive t-shirts
May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
As Jason Roberts said last night on the radio, I wonder how some of those players felt having to go out training wearing that top.Bruce Rioja wrote:Had one of our lot been had up for racially abusing someone I'd be fecking livid if the rest ran out in supportive t-shirts

Odd though, as when I was brought up to say "black" was deemed a poor choice of word and "coloured" was seen as the right one.CrazyHorse wrote:Alan Hansen apologises for TV remark

I know it's changed, but I don't recall some edict being introduced.

He's nowt to apologise for..
Plenty of people use that term, Black people are very, very, very rarely offended by it.
A pal of mine pretends to be offended by it pissing around though.. He'll say "Coloured?, What.. Do you mean like Pink with green spots?" before giving a sly grin

Not seen it, can't for the life of me believe he meant anything by it, so can't see the problem
. Don't mind Hansen mesen. He's one of the better ones. The coaches on my level 2 said he was the one of the BBC lot who actually knew what he was talking about.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Yeah.. We were big mates at one point.. Until he caught me fingering his daughter beside the bins outside the MEN during the masters tournament a few years back.
