Mens' Olympic Football.

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Out on penalties again. Missed one in the game and Sturridge screwed it trying for clever. Out.

cant recall Scotland.N.Ireland,or Wales going out of a global competition on penalties before. "Great Britain" either for that matter

100% record now then.

Do you know who is pretty decent at penalties.... David Beckham.

Honestly though it seems like the team were never even in the Olympic spirit, if you look at the rest of the athletes they all seem proud to be there... none of them looked remotely like they cared and would rather be at preseason with there teams.

Well, we don't play together with our neighbours much, it's true, and the two Welshmen have been two of our better players.. But think national side and you get the picture.

None of them cared? Bollocks, Sturridge was crying ffs. Been a big song and dance about how they've been joining in with all the other athletes as a proper team GB, not just football tacked on.

Anyway, I always said that Sturridge was shite. Useless prick means I'm going watching Brazil notch a cricket score against fecking Korea on Tues. It'd be all right if Chungy was playing.

Football shouldn't really be an Olympic sport anyway, it is played and competed all year round, so isn't a true Olympic sport.
But yeah, penalties again!

Game proved just how over rated and miles away in terms of quality Neymar is compared to Messi & Ronaldo!

Apparently preparation has been going poorly for the mens paralympic team after they only managed to draw in their warm up game against bury.
