Aye, there's a few on here who can't well mock.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

They were third when they sacked Kean, cos the fans demanded it. 3rd. 3rd.

Worked out well for them hasn't it.

Former Aston Villa first-team coach Kevin MacDonald has emerged as the leading contender to succeed Henning Berg as Blackburn manager.

Full story: Daily Telegraph

MacDonald could be placed in charge at Rovers alongside Judan Ali - who has been involved in a Bollywood football movie and was assistant manager of a London Sunday league side three years ago.

Full story: The Independent
It's clearly bollocks, but how good would that be?!

The Independent story also mentions that Shebby Singh is now 22/1 to land the job. We couldn't get that lucky, surely?

I'd be absolutely gutted if they appointed somebody normal, like Billy Davies.

Looks like they might well go for someone with experience this time ...

DM reporting that Judan Ali has been 'observing' training sessions at Brockhall for a week or so before Berg was sacked.

Total respect to the Venky's if they get this guy in !

The coaching staff ala McDonald and Ali are being appointed before a manager, or is the manager already there?

Before the Manager as I read it.

I think we should check whether it's actually McDonald from Villa, or some kids from McDonald's in Blackburn...

Did not make myself clear...sorry. I meant that is the manager already at the club, being Henry, Gomes or Murphy.

Phil Brown has applied for it as we'll.

Also expected is the sacking of board members Agnew and Shaw who have been summoned to India, leaving global advisor Shebby Singh in charge or even the next manager
