I think Sturridge is allergic to playing for England. Always withdrawing through injury and when he does play on the rare occasion he goes off injured.

Seems Ireland are playing but England are saving themselves for the second half...I think. Sturridge didn't look up for it at all. Plenty effort from the Irish and our lot look a bit lackadasical at times. Concentrate lads, there's another team out there.

There was nothing at stake, but it was pretty obvious Ireland wanted it more than we did. All too causal and times and just looking for trouble...and found it. We missed some chances but it was no display to sing about. Speaking of singing, the sheer exhuberance of our players singing the national anthem was rousing....er..not.
