What !?!?!?
I almost made an involuntary noise of "n'ggggggggog !"
I read that they'd won once in 10 games and they were re-arranging the coaching staff. Didn't realise they meant at the top. Maybe he refused to cooperate and they binned him
"Dougie ..... can you feck off lad, we've found someone !!!"

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Swansea sack Michael Laudrup!!!
He was clearly going at the end of the season, but must've been a big fallout.

Re: Swansea sack Michael Laudrup!!!
I heard Michael Laudrup was sacked for gross misconduct when he signed N'Gog!
Re: Swansea sack Michael Laudrup!!!
He's another snake oil salesman but still a bit wtf.

Re: Swansea sack Michael Laudrup!!!
Not surprised to be honest. They've been going backwards since their League Cup win, and that was a team that was still mostly Rodgers' work, plus the good fortune of the Michu signing (which I'll give Laudrup credit for, despite it looking more and more like a fluke).
I also think player/manager relations may suffer when it's still obvious that the manager is still the best player at the club. Laudrup was an incredible player and he knew it, and it might come off badly in his approach to management.

Surprised I haven't seen a few "well that's Swansea relegated" posts. Don't subscribe to that, especially when you read more than one papers' account of what's been going on. Apparently won't take training of it's raining! feck* off for a few days on end with no clue as to his whereabouts. Dressing room cliques.
If true, and 3-4 papers have gone with this, I find it incredible that somebody who played at the highest level, seems so work shy. Perhaps he has nothing but his natural talent.

He nearly went in the summer. There has been all sorts of behind the scenes trouble there.

Re: Swansea sack Michael Laudrup!!!
Reading this morning that, after losing to Wet Spam at the weekend he buggered off to Paris for a three day break .... in the middle of a very poor run and prior to the next match which happens to be against Cardiff. It seems he has done this previously.
He may argue that he has a team behind him and so could do that but if the team is that reliable maybe he's not needed at all. Could be described as 'constructive resignation'.
Seems an odd .... maybe very arrogant ... man.

Sacked for signing Ngog by the sounds of it.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
Re: Swansea sack Michael Laudrup!!!
It was reported that he also gave the players two days off as well not just himself.bobo the clown wrote:Reading this morning that, after losing to Wet Spam at the weekend he buggered off to Paris for a three day break .... in the middle of a very poor run and prior to the next match which happens to be against Cardiff. Also reported that training was taken by the new caretaker manager. I suppose there could be a nuance whereby these are both correct.malcd1 wrote:It was reported that he also gave the players two days off as well not just himself.bobo the clown wrote:Reading this morning that, after losing to Wet Spam at the weekend he buggered off to Paris for a three day break .... in the middle of a very poor run and prior to the next match which happens to be against Cardiff. Still a very odd time to clear off.

To think it wasn't that long ago that he was linked with Real Madrid . . .
