Liverpool laughing stocks?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

A truly bizarre decision.

I miss the Mario stories

Liverpool get rid of trouble and buy more trouble!

They should hold a minutes silence before the next game for their troubles.

£16m for Ballotelli could be an absolute steal if he turns up to play, which admittedly is for from certain.

I've always thought Ballotelli was treated unfairly in the English media. Yeah, he's an idiot, but his antics are generally harmless and hilarious, and he doesn't deserved to be mentioned in the same breath as criminals like Suarez.

That's the picture you choose?

Anyway, I've never quite got the fuss about his ability. He's a very good player, much better ability wise than £16m nowadays, but he's not THAT good. It seems to be assumed by many that if he just stopped being a dick he'd be the best striker in the world. Really?

Plus, he's a liability.

On the other hand, he's got the persecution complex nailed...

I see that Liverpool have drawn PFC Ludogorets Razgrad in the Champions League.

I looked them up. Turns out that they're a fairly big club on Merseyside.

apparently - according to young brendon - the reason for Liverpool's poor form this season is that the Liverpool jersey is too heavy...

In the midst of the furore of our loss to Fulham we're in danger of missing this set of rags losing in Basle and having a poor start to the season they were going to storm back to the very top.

That's all.

I sniggered at this BBC ticker comment...

20:29

Liverpool fans can remember Istanbul with fondness now. Liverpool came from 3-0 down to Carlo Ancelotti's AC Milan side in 05 - could they do it again? Rickie Lambert is on the bench...
