^^no doubting his record and how good he was for us but is this what he aspired to?
Millions in the bank no doubt but does he think what if?

Re: Tonight's Football
No doubt Allardyce will be disappointed with his career. But he's had a good one really. He aspired to the very top but his image, styling and character weren't ever going to let him get there.
But as a manager of smaller premiership clubs he is the perfect catch. Along with Pulis, he'd have to be high on a list of firefighters.
He will probably keep Sunderland up though it is a harder challenge there than he's had recently.

feck 'em - I'll be congratulating them on nowt. Do they congratulate us for qualifying for anything? Do they feck as like. They should stop whinging and singing at get more massive leeks rattled up!
If anyone heard any of BBC Radio 5 Live this morning you'd have thought that they'd won the World Cup and that we were all being instructed to wank off in celebration with them.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

One of the "ania's" tonight. Not played Transylvania or Ruritania yet (probably because one's part of Romania and the other's fictional), but we've got Lithuania this evening. Apart from knowing it's in Europe somewhere, I had to find it on a map, know we beat them 4-0 last time but know absolutely nothing else about the team or players. For us, Joe Hart, Wayne Rooney, centre-back Gary Cahill and midfielders Michael Carrick and James Milner were all left at home for this one. .

Re: Tonight's Football
Is Alli the Spurs player aged 19 with barely a handful of first team games under his belt ?
I used to scoff at suggestions that people got selected due to which club they played for. Clearly I know nothing.

He has played quite a lot of games for a 19 year old. Most with MK Dons though.bobo the clown wrote:Is Alli the Spurs player aged 19 with barely a handful of first team games under his belt ?

Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Well, that's an own goal!
Looks like I'm winning my first bet in donkey's though with England to win every qualifying game.

Re: Tonight's Football
^^^ wow. That made me smile.
Trying to work out the era. I was in the blue & white stripes, white shorts time. They then went to a blue 'Arsenal' shirt before a period in all blue shirts.
.... & if the ball was in the air it's pretty certain I was nowhere near it !

Re: Tonight's Football
I see the betting' on as to who'll place Timmy Sherwood.
David Moyses apparently saying that if he were approached it'd be too good an opportunity to turn down.
But this it Terrific Timmy. That master tactician and all-round lovely man. HHow can it be ? ... Noooooooo !!

I hope he doesn't get the bullet. I'm enjoying watching him feck up Villa even further. I wouldn't have thought it possible that Villa could get any worse - but Timmy has a rare talent.
