Aye, with two "Megson out" threads already running. Shxt, if we should lose against Fulham we'll have to start a "Megson" forum.
probably
If we'd lost.
catch up dave
a1, in his own little language, is suggesting that the outcry to a draw was equal or worse to that had we lost

Sorry, but a1 is a cryptic clue at the best of times!

I'm aware that a lot of people claim to have "sources" if that's what your gettin at SOTWA...I just happen to be slightly in the know with regard to this one player, and I'm only repeating what he's said. Choose to believe it or not...no skin off my nose.JT wrote:
Have to agree with Batman, and have to say I'm no fan of Megsons. He has done or said nothing to make me believe we are going to be anything more than survivors in this league, and I get the impression he's content with that. Fair enough, when he came in after Lee, the aim was to keep us in the league..and by the skin of our teeth we managed it- fair play. The summer was a chance to push on from that though and make us a bit more of a force in the league. From what I've seen thus far, we're going to struggle again.
It's not just us fans who have an apparent dislike for him either, I've been told from a reliable enough source that hardly any of the players get along so well with the guy, utter prick apparently. How can he possibly get the best out of the team when they arn't playing for him?!
Sorry can someone let me know if there is something of genuine interest following that, because that's were I stopped reading.

Well, we've already had reports/rumours? recently of Tamir Cohen claiming Megson doesn't like him? Apart from that I don't recollect any other dissent.JT wrote: I'm aware that a lot of people claim to have "sources" if that's what your gettin at SOTWA...I just happen to be slightly in the know with regard to this one player, and I'm only repeating what he's said. Megson kept us up and deserves credit which he's had in spades for doing that..
My nagging worry is that keeping us up is the limit of his style and ability..
I keep thinking we're the new Coventry, clinging on for a few years with last weekend heroics before eventually sinking without
trace with no one particulary bothered about our passing..
Mind you as the league lurches toward a contest of who's got the most money the whole thing is becoming rather pointless and uninteresting.. imv

Are we in League 2 yet - Three seasons and we'll be away to Chesham
I was unaware of the Tamir Cohen thing, but I imagine not all rifts come out until the manager actually leaves. Megson doesn't seem to want the player in question leave, having knocked back 5-6 bids for him from different clubs since January, which is why I don't understand why he would be lying about it all.

The only players it can possibly be are Habsi or Vaz Te.JT wrote:I was unaware of the Tamir Cohen thing, but I imagine not all rifts come out until the manager actually leaves. If its Vaz Te then the guys a complete cock and always moaning about something.
If its Habsi then its not surprising given that he isn't first choice.
Plenty of the players have talked off the record saying that Megson was a breath of fresh air. End of the day you can't please all the people all of the time.
