No-one is debating the way he ended his tenure was questionable (though i do think i UEFA cup place counts as a high note-ish), but for all the people bashing Sam on here, do you guys honestly think the way he left cancels out the previous eight years?hoboh2o wrote: There may also be a foot note, that when the FA spurned him he almost ruined the club he built by spitting out his dummy!!!!
He'd lost the plot as far as we were concerned and we nearly paid the price of his ego!
He hardly left us on a high note did he? Still he has his cross to bare now, his "long ball tactics" it will take mega success with the dingles before he sheds that, something I doubt he ever will.
to sum up;
thanks for the memories and what you did for us Sam,
but now your nothing but a six fingered Dingle and one who carries his hump upfront!! down to the pits of hell with yer!!!!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

No, not at all. I've always been beyond grateful for what he has done for us, and will always have fond memories of our rise to the top end of the Premiership. I've done 18 years army service, but if I was to sign off tomorrow, leaving a steaming turd on my Commanding Officers desk, I wouldn't expect him to think I was the Messiah.

You think leaving us in a European spot is a 'steaming turd' SOTWA?Soldier_Of_The_White_Army wrote:No, not at all. Leaving us, once we had actually qualified for Europe certainly wouldn't have been.mofgimmers wrote:You think leaving us in a European spot is a 'steaming turd' SOTWA?Soldier_Of_The_White_Army wrote:No, not at all. Appropriately enough whilst we are on the subject of Sam, here's Cophilie to examine Sam's reputation. Anyone who'd like to respond in article form, get scribblin'...

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Dingles sign a French defender, Marseille defender Gael Givet :

Could signal that Warnock is going to leave, although with Givets not playing this season its unlikely he will be match fit.
