Pool could soon be in a whole lot of trouble but ......

Never mind the off field stuff, on the field they were woeful yesterday against Everton. Totaly out played and although they had more shots on target they never looked like scoring. Torres and Gerrard did very little to lift the gloom that is around Anfield, really worrying times I'm afraid for the Kop faithful.
What has happened to Torres, he seems totally out of sorts, and has gone from the Premiership goal machine to what looks likes a very average striker. Strange!

Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

The service has completely dried up - he muddled by with some injury problems towards the end of Benitez's tenure, but now we've been introduced to the wonders of Uncle Roy's tactical masterclass which means there's rarely a player within 20 yards of him. We'd be better off with Heskey than Torres with our current tactics.FaninOz wrote:What has happened to Torres

You'd be better off with a striker who looks interested for a start.blurred wrote:The service has completely dried up - he muddled by with some injury problems towards the end of Benitez's tenure, but now we've been introduced to the wonders of Uncle Roy's tactical masterclass which means there's rarely a player within 20 yards of him. Torres' who body language is poor. And he isn't making runs, doesn't look lively and generally looks like he doesn't give a shit.
But don't fear I'm confident he'll bang in a hattrick at the 'Bok in a couple of weeks to get back on track!

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Roy goes Megson on us.
But I bet newspapers aren't subsequently filled with "I hope Liverpool do lose on Sunday/go down/explode in a ball of shitness". And neither will the fans get stick for reacting to it with gnashing of teeth if this doesn't work.

Roy Hodgson facing Liverpool sack
20 October 2010
Liverpool Football Club have begun their prelimary hunt for a new manager, should they need to sack Roy Hodgson. I am led to believe that morale is at an all-time low in the squad amongst senior players with some complaining that they feel "lost" and "confused" by the manager's methods.
Pressure has mounted so high within the camp that there are reports of players squabbling amongst themselves because frustration is boiling over and that some players are reporting a lack of communication and understanding from the manager in terms of tactics and instructions.
It is claimed that the squad are even more deflated than when Rafa lost the dressing room at the end of his reign but that players are more vocal this time around.
Spoilt brats stabbing the manager in his back or genuinely concerned players who have a right to speak out about how they feel? I'm not sure so I welcome your comments and feedback below.
NESV are due to meet existing Liverpool FC officials at the weekend, prior to the Rovers game, to discuss the situation. They don't want to pull the trigger so soon but there is a problem and it needs to be addressed.
There are also suggestions that Hodgson feels having Kop legend Kenny Dalglish in the background isn't helping him. If true, that probably relates to the many calls from supporters for Kenny to be given the job.
The pressure is mounting for Roy which is a real shame as he's a nice guy. But the problem is if it's not working, it's not working, and there are clearly problems in the camp that must be stamped out as soon as possible.
Roy HodgsonA couple of victories could help resolve the situation but unless things pick up very soon, Roy will be axed.

So, if true, Roy won't be given time. As the board said when they took over.
Liverpool board lying to their support? Haven't we seen that somewhere before? Should we expect, say, street protests? The burning of the American flag, say? "Yanks out"? Or could it just be another case of selective hearing?

Remember? You're one of the bastard fans he had no regard for from day one. Whether you booed him or not.
