Benitez .... prick

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

dude the united players were hardly up in arms about it. He got the ball on the floor first, the fact that he went straight through the man afterwards is irrelevant (and kinda satisfying considering he cleaned out a rag)

Something that had Prick No 2 Wenger moaning after Liam Ridgewell's world class tackle on Theo Walcott last weekend.

Agreed mate - distinctly worrying.
My hatred of Man Utd has diluted over the years as Liverpool have become more and more the "darlings of the media" despite doing precisely feck all!

I also have grudging respect for Scholes and especially Giggs for the way they have been professional througout their careers!
Oh FFS!!! Just try harder, you'll manage. Think Ferguson for starters. Then all the tw*ts from tunbridge wells, and truro and feckin tokyo and places that don't even begin with 't' claiming to love them... cos they are the brand, innit... Get that hatred back, you'll feel better for it...
See I can't get worked up about Ferguson anymore. Just can't. Not since pricks like Benitez and Wenger turned up!

As for the fans, yes they are irritating indeed but so are the Liverpool fans who have never been to Anfield and of that there are many!

But the regular every game Man Utd fans I know are just about, just about bearable for 5 minutes. The same CANNOT be said of Liverpools regulars!

Match going United fans are mostly okay and aren't as rose tinted as the boozer brigade.

Spot on, he won the ball simple as that. There would be uproar on hear if Gary Cahill executed the same tackle and a penalty was given!

There's an interesting Premier League article here that talks about a need for patience and rubbishes claims that there ever was a crisis at Liverpool.

Not sure about the latter point but I'm all for giving managers a chance. I'm not Megson's biggest fan but I've been pleasantly surprised at our performances this season, so for now at least it looks like the chairman's patience has been justified.

Those will be make-up calls . . . Carragher should have been suspended for this one anyway.

With regard to Rafa's career I am under the impression that the fat lass is just limbering up prior to launching an aria.

Mind you, he is a prick.

Degen was unlucky. I'm not sure you could argue Carragher is. He may have been unlucky on the one he did get sent off for, but the earlier one was a stonewall haul down. Otherwise Liverpool were terrible. Gonna be interesting given the rumours they can't afford to sack him.

I know what you mean - but I'm thinking they can't afford to keep him either.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of bastards.

Man United are the only decent team they've beaten all season -
Liverpool have beaten Stoke, Burnley, Hull, West Ham and Bolton (West Ham and us which were a big struggle), Manchester United, Debrecen & Leeds.

Liverpool have lost to Spurs, Fulham, Sunderland, Chelsea, Aston Villa. Lyon, Fiorentina & Arsenal reserves.
Backed with money or not this summer I think we all knew what was coming when Five Live announced the inclusion of Voronin, Degen and Kyrgiakos.

Kuyt's not chipped in enough goals thinking about it, he got them a few late winners and had a knack of big game goals but where's he been all season?

Eh, nobody who could actually improve their prospects would want the job. Benitez is often tactically inept but the big issue is that he's spent far too much money over the years on players who are not championship caliber. No manager can fix that issue without money, which they don't have, and which they certainly won't have if they have to pay the fat dunce £20 million in compensation.

Oh I agree - but I bet you that the bindippers have not sussed that out. After all they are a "Very Big Club" TM.
