There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Get in there! Very happy gooner tonight! We deserved that win but i didn't think we were gonna get it. Depressing that our season now revolves in finishing above spurs - things have got that bad, but looking promising for next year, if we can keep injury free and continue playing as well as we have the past few games i think we can compete for the title next season. (providing RVP stays...)

Can we please change the title of this thread. Apparently we have all been wrong and Arsehole Whinger does not encourage his own players to dive. He even tells them not to do it.

ARSENE WENGER has laid into Luis Suarez and the rest of the Premier League’s play-actors.

Wenger slammed the controversial Liverpool striker for making a meal of things after winning a penalty in Arsenal’s 2-1 win at Liverpool last week.

He believes there is no place for football’s con-men and their over-the-top reactions.

Wenger said: “Suarez got the penalty last week. It was no penalty. Nobody touched him. Everyone who has played can understand they try to win the penalty but then they roll down the sock, and take the shinpad out like he has been kicked like mad.

“It’s a bit overboard. We don’t need that.” Suarez is the latest in a long line of players to anger the Arsenal boss with his antics.

Ex-Newcastle player Joey Barton was the first, after his dramatic tumble played a part in Gervinho getting sent off on his Arsenal league debut in August.

Wenger said: “At Newcastle, Gervinho had a bad response to provocation from our friend Barton.

“He was shocked because he felt he didn’t do a lot but I think he learned his lesson in the first game and it's better than after 20. It's better to know what you are facing. If you want to work abroad you have to adapt to the local culture.”

Wenger insisted he would pull up his players if they began over-acting.

He said: “It annoys me but it can happen with one of my players as well. You talk about it when you face the situation. They know about it as well.”
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Arsenal will sign Lukas Podolski from Cologne for £11m plus add-ons for any trophies he wins at the club.
So that's a £11m deal then.

hmmmm....

here's an archive of glaring diving incidents...

http://www.vanmersbergen.com/schwalbe/index.html

Interesting, in this list, there are more dives by Arsenal players then by any other team.

Statistical anomaly due to the fact Arsenal starts with A.
To check it out I bet there's none in there from Zenit St Petersburg!

If I'm changing the thread title I'd rather go with something stronger and to the point.
How does The Official Dirty Cheating Diving Arsenal Thread grab you?

here's the watertight scientific proof!

type Arsenal divers into google and there are 10,000,000 (yes!) results - all about arsenal diving. (I've checked each one)

type Bolton divers into google and there are 2,450,000 results - all about scuba diving schools.

QED
