Re: Tonight's Football
you have to say that we have been living a charmed life with the results around us for the last couple of months... that's not to take anything away from what we've done on the pitch - but it could hardly have gone much better for us when we have needed it to! (so far)

Re: Tonight's Football
Why we are the only team Leicester have beaten in, I think, 14 games sums up how ridiculous football can be.
This is so set for us fckg it up v the Tangerines next week.
Domed, domed and thrice domed.

This. Imagine being in the Doncaster end watching that injury time penalty, thinking you'd blown it.officer_dibble wrote:fukin hell, that last minute of the brentford/donny game sounds mental!

Had Sky on and they went over to Paul Walsh, live at Griffin Park, for the penalty. 30 seconds of almost unbelievable goings-on.Harry Genshaw wrote:This. Re: Tonight's Football
there was a donny fan on radio five said he was actually physically sick when the penalty was awarded - then a minute later he was screaming and crying and shouting and hugging his (now sick-smeared) wife!Bruce Rioja wrote:Had Sky on and they went over to Paul Walsh, live at Griffin Park, for the penalty. 30 seconds of almost unbelievable goings-on.Harry Genshaw wrote:This. I love watching that sort of thing as a neutral or as a fan. It's just football in a nutshell. Bedlam, pandemonium, heartache, psychotic joy all in one.
Despite all the nonsense blighting the modern game, football's still got it.

Agreed. The only similar thing I could think of with the Wanderers, off the top of mi ead, was away at Southampton in the cup in 1992. Pandemonium when Darby hit what we thought was the winner right in front of us. Then feeling like someone had just twotted me in the knackers with a sledge hammer as Barry bloody Horne let flyJakerbeef wrote:I love watching that sort of thing as a neutral or as a fan. Re: Tonight's Football
Cannot believe what I'm seeing here. Reading and QPR, who'll both be relegated in the event of a draw are playing a game like they're both mid-table. Doubtlessly all the players will claim a Reo-Cokeresque 'nowt to do with me Gov, I'm Premier League, I am'.

Just saying the same Bruce. Couldnt believe neither side didnt throw caution to the wind and chuck a few extra forwards on. Wonder if we'll be getting QPR fans on here again today like last year

Both were down regardless today. Ok the winner might have postponed it by a week, but still were going down.

Am I missing something?
They keep saying that QPR and Reading are now both relegated. But with three games left, they're both 9 points behind Villa...
Couldn't either of them still stay up on goal difference...?

No.
Villa play Wigan last day. Meaning lowest possible total for survival is 35. Neither QPR or Reading can achieve that now.
Re: Tonight's Football

Reading and QPR send each other down with a whiper of a draw, couldn't even take it to the last day oh no they had to do it in April. This says it all for me total cautions for Reading 0 total for QPR 2. Just shows neither of them cared and they have gone down with a whimper, a lack of fight will see both of them struggle next season just as it has down for then both from day 1 of this season and I think Reading may even do a Wolves next season. Preparing a poster with a crying Reading fan with the words "Anton said he would spend big and get us into Europe". Wonder how many of the lads in my year suddenly become disinterested in Reading, a lot of them already have down, Reading have some of the least loyal fans you will ever find and the Madejski is like being in church 95% of the time and their attendances will be halve of what we have got at the Bok this season. A whole county to themselves and yet they don't even sell out. Reading and QPR what a joke.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
