Benitez .... prick

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I see Fernando girlie boy is banging on about signing players now, why don't he buy them out of his small change

Hopefully it'll die.

Oh, by the way.. That's about his post match interview from the Stoke game
Thought that was fecking hilarious personally.
Would one of you be so good as to flesh it out a bit for those of us that haven't heard it? Ta!
Whoever the sky interviewer was asked him a question and he intimated that there were a few decisions that had irked him (namely the Lucas penalty in the first half). When the sky man pressed him about it, he said that 27,000 people in the stadium could see it, but 3 others couldn't. The Sky bloke then tried to ask him the same question in about 10 different ways, and virtually every answer he said there were 27,000 people who could see it, and that he was with them, much to the interviewer's chagrin.

maybe if lucas wasn't such a diving piece of sh*t you may have got it

as it is, he was always looking for it and benitez's attempts to deflect from the absolute horror show that is your season are amateur at best

I didn't think it was a penalty - he was on his way down before the contact.

Still, surprised it wasn't given, because they usually are.

Funny last season. Too close to the truth this for them to laugh. Liverpool are two players more than also-rans, and they're not playing at the moment.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

awesome!!! just imagine how awesome it would be for Coyle to say after today's game - "you know what to expect from Arsenal - and to be fair, take nothing away from them, they did put us under a bit of pressure, but a little bit of quality shone through and we're pleased with the 3 points..."

Spot on there, I thought the same when it happened and the multitude of action replays from various angles proved the ref correct.

But like you I was surprised that it wasn't given.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Well, this is my 7000th post, and I'd simply like to say that Benitez is a prick.

few better way to celebrate it. May it be subject of your 10,000th .... but as the manager of a Championship team ("football club") by then. That WOULD be funny !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Surely Liverpool can't be relegated though. I mean, should they be relegated, surely they must be allowed to defend that relegation title in the same competition

He could be off to Juve:

Goodness me - Juve? Why would they want him?

Still, it may be a way out for Liverpool. They could get some compensation and bring in someone cheaper.

I hear Gary Megson's still out of work.

I used to care, but things have changed"

I reckon Gary's Italian uncle invented Catenaccio.
