Bayern play as good a brand of football as I've seen. Stunning at times.

In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Re: Tonight's Football
Barca look very ordinary without a certain Lionel.
I would have him on the pitch even if he legs where hanging off

They're a class act. Flair in wide areas. Lethal finishers up top. Creative and hard working in midfield and rock solid at the back with a world class keeper. They have the absolute perfect balance.
Great to watch. They're making me all 'fanboy'

Yep, agree. Perfect model for a football team in my book.boltonboris wrote:They're a class act. Flair in wife areas. Lethal finishers up top. Creative and hard working in midfield and rock solid at the back with a world class keeper. They have the absolute perfect balance.

Love watching em. Far prefer them to watching Barcelona, even at their best.

It was 0-0 when I set off for a dump...Annoyed Grunt wrote:3-0 Bayern......

We'd have done 'em over two legs, with our two away goals.
Re: Tonight's Football
Brilliant from Bayern. Unstoppable.
Martin Tyler keeps mentioning no Messi and the impact he made when he come on against PSG. Thing is he didn't to jack against Bayern in the first leg so what says he would have made an impact tonight?

Re: Tonight's Football
Barca should have been out last round. PSG had them beat until an injured Messi come on and changed the game and they got through at the last.Vertigo wrote:Brilliant from Bayern. Unstoppable.

No plan B Barca. Even tonight when they was getting nowhere after the first 45, they continued the tippy tappy shit.

Barca look a lot less fit and energetic than they did last season. Maybe the new guy's stopped doping the players.

Been a fan of German footy for yonks. I love how they learn from past disappointment, dust themselves off and then improve.
Bundesliga in fine fettle too. Young hungry international side. Entering an era of domination I think.
Ta ta Spain.

Apparently this new German way comes from when England tonked them 1-5. They decided to start fresh and we are now seeing the end result.Jakerbeef wrote:Been a fan of German footy for yonks. I love how they learn from past disappointment, dust themselves off and then improve.

I'm led to believe they do a lot of ping-pong, nowadays.boltonboris wrote:Barca look a lot less fit and energetic than they did last season. Maybe the new guy's stopped doping the players.

New German way! Do give over.
In a couple of years everyone will be in awe of the Bolton way.

Neither did I until I was watching something the other day with Emile Heskey being interviewed and they got onto the the 1-5 game.Jakerbeef wrote:Didn't know that. Apparently the powers that be demanded German football be rebuilt from the ground up. Players like Ozil etc.. Are results of this new German philosophy.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
