"Blackburn Rovers FC Action Group said at least 120 fans planned to miss their club's away match at Newcastle United".officer_dibble wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-la ... e-16410216
looks like our resident chorley fan is cheating on us
Or maybe they never planned to go anyway !?!?
I plan to boycott loads of away matches this season.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I used to coach with the 23 year-old local man arrested and released without charge.

Fcuk me they are in trouble!!! Megsons sinister "theys" have arrivedAnderson said on Sky Sports News: "Are there things going on that we're not aware of? Are there groups of people who say they are supporters, but who really don't want Venky's [Blackburn's owners] to succeed for whatever reason, and don't want the manager to succeed?
"With normal fans, all you want to do is support your manager and team. What I think the world of football can't understand is where this is coming from. It does seem to be well organised, from people who say they are supporters.

Re: Ambitious Blackburn
I wonder if it was declared ??Rovers have priced wantaway defender Chris Samba, 27, at £15m - and claimed the defender, a target for QPR and Spurs, owes them money after they gave him a six-figure loan to pay for improvements to his house.

I thought that as long as no-one gains from the loan (ie, its paid back with no interest paid) then it didn't have to be declared as earnings? Loads of people circumvent the tax system by doing this as I recall. Kindofsortof.

Wouldn't have thought so - it's still a benefit in that he didn't have to borrow it from a bank and pay interest. Alternatively, and more likely, he didn't have to lose interest on his own dosh.

Samba hands in a transfer request which has been rejected by the club, going to be interesting what happens.

Samba hasn't travelled or something because he wants to leave? Have I heard that right?

yeah - manager confirmed he is fit but not in the squad...Lord Kangana wrote:Samba hasn't travelled or something because he wants to leave? Have I heard that right?
good plan - hold on to a wantaway player - don't let him go - then don't play him!
Re: Ambitious Blackburn
Against the scousers, despite having 2 pens, their goalie sent off, playing against 10 men for an hour and they still managed to lose, Kean still found a positive and also something to blame the defeat on.
This week though it appears as though the gravity of the situation he is in has dawned on him. Openly stated that they need 7 points to stay up.
Top class manager on here someone has said! The dingle natives are restless...
