Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
"For the leader of the Labour Party to make such an offensive gesture insults not only me but every person in the city."

"It begs the question - were the comments he made after the Hillsborough panel report sincere or just sound bites?"

"Being a survivor of Hillsborough and having been in the cage behind the goal in Leppings Lane I have never been so appalled in my life of having seen the photo of Ed Miliband holding The Sun"

Who needs RAWK when you've got their elected representatives?

The problem is this does, actually, reflect the opinions there. You'd like to think its just the vocal minority, or the knumbskulls. But it's not.
If you gathered a random bunch from the street there and asked them about this, both individually or as the group and you'd get very little variation. Even the brighter, more Worldly wise ones have little ability to se beyond the party line.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Fair comment, I forgot that. Lovely people, salt of the Earth. Fantastic sense of humour, can give it and take it. imply misunderstood.Burnden Paddock wrote:On the bright side, they are all lovable rogues and really, really funny. God love them Scousers.
They also applaud opposition keepers.

It's not just them, they have their converts. Mate of mine just put on Facebook 'Received my free copy of the Sun, consigned it to the recycling. Am unhurt and unaffected by the event.' Some girl he knows, who appears to be from Bolton, has posted several lengthy rants about how he doesn't understand because he wasn't 'affected by Hillsborough' like her boyfriend was. (She also used the word 'mainstream' a lot to show how alternative she is).
Bin it if you don't like it and shut the feck up.
PS Where the feck is mine? Might post and ask her to drop hers round here rather than sending it back in some grandiose gesture.

Didn't want the bloody rag coming through the letterbox but it did. Would have preferred it if any of the party leaders had had the balls to say "Pose with a copy of the Sun? Feck off!"
"Get your feet off the furniture you Oxbridge tw*t. You're not on a feckin punt now you know"
Re: Liverpool laughing stocks?
Same here. Pose with an England scarf if you want to show support and tweet it or something. Those photos are cringeworthy.Harry Genshaw wrote:Didn't want the bloody rag coming through the letterbox but it did. You actually missed a real treat. It were so jingoistic I've been and had a St George flag tattooed on my face this morning.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Somebody must have warned the postie. I didn't get one. Re-feck*-sult... I don't have to search for somebody to have it shoved up their arse.

I am still hyperventilating at Stevie Me's excuse for playing like me at the World Cup .... that he was still "grieving" (I shit you not) following the trauma of the end of season.

That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.
