Joey Barton may get sacked

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

It'll be interesting with him already being in nick whether they just give him a slap on the wrist by making his new sentence concurrent with this one...He''s a reformed character you know?

According to a report I heard, he only decided to change his plea to guilty on learning that in all likelyhood he'd only receive a suspended sentence. I actually feel offended by every aspect of that little lot.

I'm glad that the club have distanced themselves from trying to sign him. He's the kind of player who Wet Spam et al would have no qualms falling over themselves to sign.

I think that was a different attack for which he is already serving six months.

I never understand the idea behind that. Once youve commited one crime, its ok to do more because sentencing you for one is fine.

I have no problem with him getting a suspended sentence. I, for one, would pull the lever!

FA charging him with the Dabo incident now after receiving the evidence from the court.

Oddly they never charged Hartson when he kicked Berkovic in the head in training, and that was in front of the cameras.
