Danny Guthrie....what a prick!!!!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Haaland wasn't exactly subtle, but did that justify Roy Keane's actions?

Right, imagine walking down the street and someone does something to annoy you? Is it acceptable to kick them so as to break their leg?

Thats what Guthrie did.

The act is inexcusable, because it was clearly deliberate.

Being provoked isn't justification anymore than it would be on the street.

yeah, once i was in morrisons and i smiled at this fit woman

she didn't smile back

so i followed her out of the shop, strangled her and raped her still-warm corpse

but it was ok, it was only my frustration spilling over.

What has that got to do with a professional Premiership footballer, deliberately kicking someone so hard that he could end the guys career and livelihood right then and there.

Do you think these players should hope to god that some prick doesn't deliberately try to snap his legs before stepping out onto the field?

This is supposed to be the top football league in the world, not Moss bank bloody park!

What difference does it make playing football or shopping?

Deliberately breaking another persons leg is still illegal.

What if it was his wife's leg that he kicked and broke, because he was 'letting out his frustration in some way or another'?

But he's not a prxck, because it's a one off.

You brought Jouy Barton into it (for no reason, I may add) is he a prick in you eyes? (I bet he is) maybe he was 'frustrated'
