He sure wasn't at his sharpest but the Sun "experts" are making out the team played utter crap. Now, if Defoe's goal had been allowed 2-1. If just one of the woodwork shots had been an inch the right way, 3-1. If just one of the three other attempts had gone in 4-1, and the reporters would all be bowing and scraping at our wonderful boys. Nobody got above a six rating with Jagielka above Lescott, which is pure bulshit. . I thought our game was way better than banging hopeful balls at the Rooney's, Carrolls and Crouches, and the young lads/experience blend was really paying off. Ukraine were no Moss Bank Rovers, and thinking we have to win everything 5-0 on our way to picking up the World Cup is just nonesense.

Just noticed that there's 3 live games on ESPN Classic Sky Channel 425 today. 2 Serie A games and 1 Bundesliga. Might be something to do later. For those interested in other sports, there's a live RU game on too.
