Not necessarily. He left Arsenal because he wanted a chance to win some trophies. Well he has now won them and can scratch that item off his bucket list. Often when one has accomplished everything they wanted out of life they like to give back to the world and help the underprivileged. I've seen this on many occasions having lived in the 3rd world for so many years. Therefore I wouldn't necessarily right off Arsenal's chances. The big question is if he has any more ambitions, if so then Arsenal are out of luck.boltonboris wrote:He left to win trophies and play for a good team. If he moves again, it'll be to a club with similar levels.
That club isn't Arsenal, obviously.

would it not have been wise to wait to see if they made the chumps league? kit deal worth a bit less if they don't... (they will - but still a commercial gamble...)Annoyed Grunt wrote:http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... al-1874661

Shirts'll still be bloody expensive. Then you add quids for letters, badges, numbers. Son's cost £71 proving I have more money than sense.

Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

My friend who I buy pet food from (a spurs fan) has said 'WHEN' they get the champions league place ahead of us he will give me 10% discount off my pet food for the next season. I told him he should put his money where his mouth is and if he is that confident about spuds chances then offer me 50% off if Arsenal get the place. He said, no thankyou, i'll have to pay full price for all the gloating! Hmmmm. As if I would.

Why the French flag? Tribute to Henry and/or Wenger? Might clash with the FA on that one. LMAOVertigo wrote:

Now I know that's not true as I have been to many games at The Emirates where I have had to sit with the Bolton fans. And I can tell you for free that away fans being loud was a myth. Gooners made far more noise.Worthy4England wrote:Life at the Emirates

only for very tiny short bursts when they score a goal... and not really, considering there are supposed to be 50-60,000 of them in there... they make more noise braying in the club tat-shop....Gooner Girl wrote:Now I know that's not true as I have been to many games at The Emirates where I have had to sit with the Bolton fans. Well I guess, given how many goals we have scored against you (back when you were premier league) it sounded like a never ending wall of noise hunthebish wrote:only for very tiny short bursts when they score a goal... and not really, considering there are supposed to be 50-60,000 of them in there... they make more noise braying in the club tat-shop....Gooner Girl wrote:Now I know that's not true as I have been to many games at The Emirates where I have had to sit with the Bolton fans.
