Gotta wish him the best, hope he has some idea where to go now, coaching I guess. Be horrible for him to go on TV constantly asked about what it feels like not to be at the World Cup etc.

Genuinly thought he was going to be a big deal a few years back, and was sad when we didn't get him from Crewe. Players wages means he's not gonna be a pauper, though you'd like to think thats not the most important thing for him.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I think what Brucie meant was, I think you mean, "the lady doth protest too much, methinks." Or something.

Are you sure they won it? I'm not calling you a liar or anything, it's just, if they had, surely they'd have mentioned it or something?KeeeeeeeBaaaaaaab wrote:How good would it be if the only World Cup Winners in England were to be relegated in a World Cup year?

The way Burnley get results against the likes of Arsenal to me shows how the standard of the Premier League has slipped, personally I'd like to see some of these lesser teams relegated to ensure the likes of West Ham stay up... I think thats the only way the Premier League will be able to consider itself as strong as La Liga, with big clubs like Newcastle going down in recent seasons its really lowered the standard in my eyes
Another Premiership team almost in administration

Surely this is a ploy to stop the Club going into administartion, like Portsmouth some "cleaver" accounting practices are being used to protect Clubs form the -10pt rule!! The Premiership should step in to stop such things happening.
