I've edited this because it didn't make much sense initially.CAPSLOCK wrote:Why would Jenas want to join West Ham
Maybe he wants another England call up cos its fcuking nailed on he'll get one if he cleans the bogs at Spurs or moves to West Ham

Anyone here forgotten why they hate West Ham?
Try these little gems from today's KUMB site.
Yep I have to agree with this. Apparently Abramovitch has set aside a bundle of millions for when he eventually gets bored at them failing to win the Champions League. However, the owners at Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City et al - will they really give 2 of them about legends of the game going t*ts up?
As much as I would love to see all the above clubs implode, would it really be good for English football? Do we really want to be watching dross like Stoke and Wigan survive in Premiership just because they've got "sensible" British owners? I long for the day when Leeds,Notts Forest, Southampton even Palace and QPR come up to the Premiership and replace the likes of these 2. I keep saying it but teams like Wigan are all that is wrong in the Premiership - 14000 fans they had on Saturday and I would reckon that about 2 or 3000 of them were Wolves. We came close to oblivion ourselves and although it would give us countless bragging rights over the Man Utd, Liverpool etc fans, do we really want to be watching "well run " clubs like Blackburn and Wigan in the European places?
Interesting point. I’ve long thought the same about all these tinpot Lancashire teams. I just don’t see them contributing much long-term to the rich tapestry of the top division.
That'll be the rich tapestry of the top division that West Ham contribute to how exactly?
Tossers, all of 'em.

A little quiz for the Chimney Sweeps.
Put these sides in descending order for number of years in the top flight:
Forest
West Ham
QPR
Southampton
Leeds
Blackburn
Wigan
Bolton

I want Spurs to get it so, so, so much. Firstly so that both they and Arsenal fans implode due to the 'Arsenal have moved on our patch oh no now we've gone'/ 'Haha Spurs have left North London and their roots the shithou....oh wait'. But mainly, almost exclusively in fact, despite my hatred of the North London duo, because the two Davids are grade A* (now at A-Level) c*nts.

I feel very let down by Tottenham. The way they do business is not right. They pinched Eidur Gudjohnsen off us after we brought him from Barcelona for talks. He just disappeared from the hotel. And the way they unsettled Scott Parker was appalling.
Now they want to move into our borough of Newham. How would they like it if we suddenly set up a new home in Haringey. I’m flabbergasted by the cheek of it."

It's just an obvious ploy to get planning approval for their new Harringey stadium - they won't to east london.Prufrock wrote:Taxpayer probably foots the bill and we'll call it quits for the World Cup.CAPSLOCK wrote:If these wankers take over the Olympic stadium, what are the financials?

Yeh, but in Wigan the footy fans hate the rugby set up and vice versa. Even so, the footy kicked off at lunchtime affording plenty of time to make the rugby at 6. No excuse is that one!Bruce Rioja wrote:And that'll be the same Wigan that had a side in the Rugby play-off final at O/T on the same day.

And what should we expect Zulu from the modern day football 'fan' who cares nothing for history and tradition?.These are the types who swallow every tale told in the red top rags with their BIG CITY-BIG CLUB bias......Brainwashed or should that be Braindead?

I admire West Ham fans for their loyalty to their club but by christ they are some of the most arrogant 'billy big bollocks' nice people around.
I do believe the top two clubs in the above top flight list are Bolton closely followed by Rovers.
P.S. Rovers scored our 1000th top flight goal against Blackpool, only 11 other clubs in the country have achieved this football milestone.....no place for us little clubs at the big boys table!!! LOL

Its been too long since I last did this, and I can't be arsed looking now, all I know is we come out on top, Blackburn (as t'rrrrrrrooooverrrrrs fan says) are second, and Leeds and West Ham are a good 20 years ish behind the pair of us.
Frankly, after that, I don't really care, cos QPR and Southampton will have to be playing til doomsday to pass us.

Quite correct, your lordship. The list was as of the end of the 2007/08 season so add 3 to anyone who is still there (deducting points for those who were not there for all three seasons).Lord Kangana wrote:I'm sure thats wrong.
I'm positive we've passed 70.
