Still need a proper striker though!
Sanchez can play as a Striker or out wide.

39 goals in 88 games for Barca.

He'll score goals, but he cant play as a striker. Giroud gets injured in October, and they aren't winning anything with Sanchez up top.

Loic Remy will probably be next in but they need better IMO.

Try August. :(

We now need a top quality striker asap. He's out for about 3 months I think. Gutted.

Ah. Cheers. I'll transfer him out for Jovetic now. Our Jack's already on borrowed time an' all.

Have no fear!! Zigic is here!! What the actual feck!?

Nikola Zigic’s agent has revealed that Arsenal have opened talks with his client over a shock move to the Emirates Stadium.

The 6’7” striker is currently a free agent after his Birmingham City contract expired at the end of last season, and despite suggestions that he might retire, Arsenal have moved in.

Zigic’s agent told the local media: ‘Wenger called me on Tuesday and stressed his desire to sign Zigic.

‘He was offered a contract until the end of the year, with a view to it being extended to 2015 – we’ll see what happens.’

Serbian news outlet Sports Journal claims that the 33-year-old has already accepted the contract, and is now having medical tests with the Gunners ahead of signing up.

Zigic scored seven times in 35 matches for Birmingham, but has endured a difficult time at the club, having survived several attempts to release him – while former boss Lee Clark described one of his training performances ‘as one of the worst of all time’.

I thought this was a joke, but it appears his agent has said it. Can't see it happening.

I'd like to have seen that.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

H/T 1-0 - still a bit jumpy, if they equalise they go through on away goals. Listened to the first bit on the radio stuck in traffic driving back from Essex with my brother, got home and have found a stream. Now for a nervy second half...

I wish it had been! That was not good for the nerves! Thanks to Lever End for entertaining distraction during the second half ensuring I didn't go totally mad and chew my fingernails down to the bone.

Poor performance but happy with that result.

Yeah, he wasn't prancing about nude in front of my kitchen window, saves that just for Harry.

Tough match for us tonight. Especially with all our recent injuries. Feeling nervous. Not sure whether to be sad or relieved I'll be missing most of the 1st half for athletics. :?

Dortmund away in the CL. Again. Seem to draw them every season at the moment.
