There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

who are you playing?
Dortmund away in the CL. Again. Seem to draw them every season at the moment.
Oh well, if its not manure I'm not interested.

Arsenals big boys were awful tonight. Good job you didn't waste money buying Fabregas ;)

You're right though. :(

Ozil especially needs to crank his game up several notches. He was dire.

In defence of Arsenal's current ticket pricing, Ivan Gazidis said
Ticket prices have increased at a rate of 1.3% since 2006, which was below the growth of players' wages, fans' wages or inflation
That looks like a reasonable defence, but actually says to me, we've been screwing you for at least 8 years, because the increases have been bugger all since then. Congratulations. Long may it continue.

I think it was. Amazed to see Arsene conceding the title already this morning. They usually tie in Xmas with their end of season party, now it's bonfire night!

indeed... this is quite alarming:
One of them [the arsenal fans] held aloft a small, A4-sized placard, which read: “Enough is enough. Wenger out.” A steward quickly moved in to confiscate it. The club have a policy to remove such items on safety grounds because they risk sparking argument among fans.

also - it is kinda odd that the away bench & staff basically sit in an unsegregated block amongst the arsenal fans at the Emirates...

 I suppose bedsheets cost too much when you've spent two grand on a season ticket!

First game down there (here) all they had left at half time was rosé wine and broccoli pies. What the f*ck is that?!

natives getting restless - there'll be some load tutting (out of the hearing range of the stewards, obviously!) soon...

3-0 down to stoke at half-time... dragged it back to 3-2, but another one sent off...

according to ye BBC...
Arsene Wenger: Gary Lineker condemns abuse of Arsenal boss

Gary Lineker has criticised supporters who booed Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
A video appears to show Wenger, 65, being jeered by fans when boarding a train following his side's 3-2 Premier League defeat at Stoke on Saturday.
"Just saw the Wenger abuse video," tweeted former England striker and BBC Sport presenter Lineker.
"Disgustingly disrespectful and totally inexcusable, regardless of any football results."
:conf: bit over the top, surely? for a bit of booing??

fair enough if they'd bricked his house windows or pooed through his letterbox - but - for a bit of booing??
