Megson Watch

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

He asked to have his account closed soon after he rejoined. Check his posts if you don't believe me - I don't have time.
It just took me a while to get around to it - until his latest tirade reminded me.

People don't get banned on here for bullshit. If they did there'd be nobody left after the first month. (Including you and me.)

End of synopsis.

Carry on.

I was going to mention the shoddy treatment they meted out to their previous manager who clealry, painstakingly, built an excellent side that the present manager is merely taking advantage of.

Or about the shameful manner they hounded out such a great man as Alan Irvine. Who's a 9/10, clealry.

And that they have ideas above their station by wanting to be higher than 12th in league one.

But i couldn't be arsed.

Yes, I'll mention it. I would have done so earlier but I've got a couple of problems on the home PC at the moment so I had to wait until I got into the office. You were a bit sharp out of the traps there Verbs! :D

I would have posted Meggo's comments to Radio Sheffield - but he hasn't spoken to them for the last two games. Perhaps he thinks he is the son of Rednose, who knows? As for consecutive wins? Well, this could be the start of Meggo's march on the Premier League and subsequent Champions' league glory - or it could be the classic dead cat bounce. Time will tell. Keep your eyes open for chronically ill moggies though.

Looks like he has helped Sheffield Wednesday avoid relegation although I don't think that was one of their concerns when he took over. Congratulations.

Iam a BWFC fanatic got the Tattoo to prove it, 20 season ticket books/ Cards to prove it and lots and lots of away ticket stubs, but also i am a Football Fanatic, who loves the game and has a neutral look at things as well as just being biased on Bolton, i have my own views, the only way you can debate with them is the usual shit you all come out with, your not a Bolton fan blah blah blah. Im just not in your little fantasy bubble with you guys!

After match quote from HWSNBN via BBC Sport.

"I think if you just took the game on today's performance I don't think we would have one player who would get in Brighton's team."

Ouch. That's going to hurt on Monday morning. 8)

Its not like he hasn't always been the same.

But then I don't think I'll lose any sleep if it all comes crashing down around his ears. Some other poor bastards have got him now. Their loss.

And to think of the slagging that certain anti-Megsonites received on BWFC forums across the internets

There's a difference between slagging folk off for booing our own team mid-match and slagging them off for being anti-Megson.

I'm sure Joey O will be delighted he's not good enough to play for Brighton. :-) Maybe we should recall him.

Gary Megson told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I think arguably it's as poor as I've seen since I joined on February the 4th. We didn't pass the ball at all well when we got on to it. We didn't compete well enough and I think maybe allowances have got to be made for the fact that we played mid-week and they didn't and that we've had to traipse down here for 6 hours yesterday. I think if you just took the game on today's performance I don't think we would have one player who would get in Brighton's team."

So, I think the gist of it is that's it's all down to those cheating Brighton bastards being too far away. I think they should move to Rotherham. That will teach them.

What a muppet.
